SFA Stefano Ferracini Architect
Independent architect, professor at ESA Saint‑Luc Brussels since 2015.
Stefano Ferracini graduated from the Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto (FAUP), Portugal, in 2002, with a postgraduate master’s degree in “Methodologies of Intervention on Historic Heritage” (FAUP, 2003). He studied at IUAV in Venice and at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. His work has been exhibited and published in Venice and Porto.
He has taken part in numerous international competitions, winning the Iberian Pladur Competition (2001), was a finalist for the New Museum of Industry MUSIL in Brescia (2004), awarded third prize for the Zooprophylactic Institute in Brescia (2005), and second prize for the MODAM Museum in Milan (2006). He has written articles and collaborated with publishers such as Auge, Caleidoscopio, Idea Books, Skira, and Arquitectura Ibérica. He has edited television programs on contemporary Portugal, including Nonsolomoda, Oltremoda, and Fashion. He has been involved in teaching, conference organization, and served as a visiting professor at research institutions (PoliMi, IUAV, FAUP, HEAD).
