The Cube (Interior Design, first year project)

The exercise aims at managing a complex three-dimensional space. With given constraints (large and small surfaces, filiform elements, volumes), the student must be able to present an object within a three-dimensional space. The resulting form should suggest a cube.

The use of orthogonal composition allows reflection on themes specific to architecture and art from the beginning of the past century  (Golden rectangle, De Stijl movement, modern and rationalist architecture).

Precision and rigor in the model are required. The work is organized over 6 weeks, with intermediate guidance phases and two submissions (sketch and preliminary project).
